Preliminary hearing
The preliminary hearing of the public inquiry into the management of care of children who received complex heart surgery at the Bristol Royal Infirmary was held on Tuesday, October 27, 1998.
This hearing was to explain the purpose of the inquiry, its procedure, and to consider applications to be legally represented at the inquiry at public cost.
Full public hearings began in Bristol in March 1999.
